Knitting as Therapy

There are so many ways that Knitting can help as therapy we’re surprised the NHS doesn’t issue prescriptions for yarn and needles!

A 2013 survey of more than 3,500 knitters worldwide, found that 81.5 percent of respondents rated themselves as feeling happier after knitting From helping many to give up smoking to lessening the impact of chronic pain the list seems to grow and grow.
