Continental & Fair Isle Workshop with Juliet Bernard
Juliet Bernard was taught to knit by her German grandmother at the age of 5 or 6 using the continental method on circular needles. For her this is a very natural way to knit and very fast. She was the editor of The Knitter for 5 years and now works exclusively in the craft industry as well as teaching knitting.
Mastering the technique of continental knitting will allow the knitter to progress to two- handed Fair Isle which will make your stranded knitting projects much neater. During the workshop you will make a fair isle hat combining both continental knitting and fair isle techniques.
Yarn, refreshments and a finger buffet lunch will be provided on the day.

On this course you’ll learn how to choose suitable yarn, work out patterns and have loads of fun.
